Standard Merchandise Shipping
All orders for area rugs will be shipped for FREE within the USA, excluding Hawaii, Alaska and Canada.
We will ship your order (up to 150 pounds) FREE via UPS ground. For orders weighing over 150 pounds, other arrangements will have to be made. All rugs and pads will be professionally wrapped. If rug is damaged in shipping, please save all packaging materials and notify Knots & Weaves as soon as possible.
Orders for area rugs, oriental rugs, and rug padding will be sent for FREE of shipping charges within the USA, excluding Hawaii, Alaska and Canada. UPS ground will only ship to street addresses and not PO Boxes. For orders weighing over 150 pounds, other arrangements will have to be made. Most ordered rugs, if available for shipping should be received within 5-14 days.
Knots & Weaves will contact you about added shipping costs for purchases going to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada. For purchases being shipped to Canada, the purchaser is responsible for all import taxes and custom fees due. Knots & Weaves reserves the right not to ship outside the USA.
Upon receipt of your purchase please inspect the package before unpacking. If the packaging material has been ripped and the rug seems dirty or damaged, email info@knotsandweaves.com or call 1.610.644.9192 before opening the package. You must notify us to receive a return authorization via email at info@knotsandweaves.com or telephone 610.644.9192 to notify us that you will be returning your purchase.
Returns
When returning a rug:
- Use original wrapping material.
- Re-tape package with UPS tape.
- Do Not put tape on rug or fold rug.
- If you need new wrapping material we will be glad to send it to you.
- Insure package for full amount paid.
- Return Shipping Costs and Liability is buyer's responsibility.

Knots & Weaves will accept the return of rugs purchased through our online site within 15 days of receipt.
Exceptions
All sales are final and we will not accept the return under any circumstances for Custom Ordered Rugs, Discontinued Items or Rug Pads. A Knots & Weaves does not consider a rug a custom order if it is not in stock or backordered which causes a delay in shipping your purchase. Is there a restocking fee?
Knots & Weaves Oriental Rugs will refund the total purchase price of the returned rug for sizes less than or equal to a 9 ft. x 12 ft. or 108 square feet, as long as we receive it back in its exact condition as sent to you and within 15 days after your receipt date. For all rugs there is a 10% restocking charge as long as we receive it back in its exact condition as sent to you and within 15 days after your receipt date. NOTE: RETURN SHIPPING COST is BUYERS' RESPONSIBILITY. Your date of receipt of the merchandise is readily available to us from UPS and FedEx.
Knots & Weaves reserves the right not to accept the rug(s) back or refund the purchase price after 15 days of your receipt of them. If there are stains, dirt, or tears, Knots & Weaves reserves the right not to accept the merchandise or offer a refund, by e-mail info@knotsandweaves.com or telephone 610.644.9192. All returned rugs should have original tags attached!
Refusing a Shipment
If you reject a shipment that you placed with Knots & Weaves, you will still be responsible for the return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee. This amount will be deducted from the refund.
